I must say, I am actually impressed, how they are able to pump the price up, turn the hype on, and fool the kids to pay that amount of cash for such a simple service. Bravo!

but dude, don't complicate about simple stuff (especially, if you are broke).

It is only about making your hair shorter. The whole point is to make it more practical, forget about the "academy design" useless hype.

You can do it by yourself. You can cut your own hair.

Keep the money, save the time: no appointments, no driving anywhere.

Initial investment? 50 to 100€ for a hair-cut machine. Use it for your head, your underarm, your private area, it is a multi-purpose device. You might get it even cheaper, but it is always a risk with the super cheap stuff: might work, might not. Scissors? —optional. You are ready to go.

For comparison: if you cut your hair every 2 months — let's say you pay 25€ for a professional haircut — you blow 150€ every year just to cut your hair.

Technique? Just try it, pretend you are a professional hairstylist. Cut if off on the sides, leave the top, if it is not too long.

Fuck it up few times. Don't worry, it will grow back. If it turns out really bad, wear a hat, or just go to zero. Also: go zero every summer, to reset all the fails (+ it is practical and refreshing).
